Fast Answers Means Better Care

Early detection makes all the difference when it comes to your pet’s health. Modern diagnostic tools allow veterinarians to identify issues before they become serious — helping your pet get the right treatment, faster. Our team uses advanced, in-house diagnostic technology to uncover the cause of illness, monitor chronic conditions, and support preventive care.

Because we have on-site testing capabilities, you won’t have to wait days for results. Most lab work and imaging can be performed and interpreted the same day, meaning you and your pet get answers — and a treatment plan — sooner.

What Types of Diagnostic Testing Are Available?

We offer a full suite of in-house diagnostic services designed to provide rapid, accurate results:

  • In-House Laboratory
  • Our on-site lab allows us to perform many critical tests within minutes, including:
    • Liver and kidney profiles
    • Complete blood counts and chemistries
    • Pancreatic evaluations
    • Blood gases
    • Urinalysis
    • Parvovirus (dogs) and FeLV/FIV (cats) screenings
    • Pre-anesthetic bloodwork for surgery

When specialized testing is needed, we partner with trusted external laboratories for advanced analysis — and results are sent directly back to us for quick review.

Digital Radiology (X-Rays)

Our clinic uses advanced digital X-ray technology to capture clear, detailed images of your pet’s bones, organs, and soft tissues. X-rays can help diagnose broken bones, arthritis, foreign objects, and dental disease.
For certain orthopedic or contrast studies, light sedation may be required to keep your pet comfortable and still. Recovery from sedation is typically quick and easy.

Ultrasound Imaging (available at every location except Volusia Woods)

Ultrasound gives us a real-time look at your pet’s internal organs, including the heart, liver, kidneys, and intestines. It’s completely non-invasive and provides valuable insight into conditions like tumors, fluid buildup, or blockages.

When combined with X-rays, ultrasound helps create a complete picture of your pet’s health — essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
